Cybersecurity & Architecture DirectorDepartment: ITReports To: Vice President, ITStatus: ExemptLocation: Grapevine Area"” onsite 4 days/weekJob SummaryThe Director, Cybersecurity & Architecture leads the strategy, identification, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's cybersecurity program, governance frameworks, and enterprise architecture. Business systems include ERPs, CRMs, HRIS, BI, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics software, and other enterprise platforms.This role combines technical expertise with operational leadership to ensure these systems support a manufacturing and distribution-based business. The Director is responsible for improving security maturity, embedding cybersecurity into architectural decisions, and ensuring systems and infrastructure are built and operated securely across business units and brands.Key responsibilitiesDefine and own enterprise IT architecture standards with cybersecurity embedded at the foundation.Establish security-by-design principles across infrastructure, applications, and plant operations.Own and drive the enterprise cybersecurity program, vision, strategy, maturity roadmap, and CAPE controls reporting.Hold budget authority and vendor selection responsibility for cybersecurity initiatives.Lead cybersecurity due diligence and integration architecture for M&A activity.Own the security onboarding playbook for acquired businesses.Own enterprise IAM architecture and execution roadmap, including SSO, provisioning, PAM, MFA, access reviews, monitoring, and AD consolidation.Own Incident Response, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery programs.Develop IR plans, incident playbooks, BIAs, tabletop exercises, RPOs, and RTOs.Partner with and mentor the infrastructure team across M365 hardening, cloud security, network design, and endpoint security.Drive security awareness education and a proactive risk management culture.Required qualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.10+ years of progressive cybersecurity and IT architecture experience.Experience owning an enterprise cybersecurity program end to end.Experience with program development, strategy, roadmap, budget authority, and vendor selection.Hands-on security architecture experience across cloud, network, endpoint, and identity.IAM program experience, including SSO, PAM, MFA, and Active Directory in multi-entity or multi-domain environments.M&A cybersecurity experience, including due diligence, integration planning, and onboarding.Strong leadership presence and ability to mentor technical teams.Experience with cyber risk management, compliance, and frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO, or CIS Controls.Ability to communicate cybersecurity risk and strategy to executives and board-level audiences.Preferred qualificationsManufacturing or industrial environment experience.OT/ICS security and shop floor network segmentation experience.Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, or equivalent.Advanced degree.Steady career progression with demonstrated promotion and tenure
