Outside Sales Representative - HVAC Distribution (South Florida Territory)ATEX DistributingLocation: Miami / Fort Lauderdale, FL (Field-Based)Territory: South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach)Travel: Local daily travelPosition OverviewATEX Distributing is seeking a seasoned Outside Sales Representative with a strong background in HVAC distribution to drive growth across the South Florida market.This role is focused on developing and expanding relationships with mechanical contractors/users, builders, and commercial accounts. The ideal candidate is a proven producer with an established local network, strong product knowledge, and the ability to generate new business while maintaining key relationships.This is a high-visibility, relationship-driven role for someone who knows the South Florida market and understands how to win in a competitive HVAC distribution environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and grow relationships with mechanical contractors and HVAC customers across South FloridaIdentify and close new business opportunities while maintaining existing accountsActively prospect and build pipeline (jobsite visits, contractor outreach, referrals)Manage pricing, quoting, and day-to-day customer needsPartner closely with inside sales and operations to deliver best-in-class serviceRepresent ATEX in the field with professionalism and urgencyTrack pipeline and activity in CRM (NetSuite)Qualifications5+ years of HVAC distribution sales experience (required)Strong relationships with contractors in the South Florida marketProven ability to manage and grow a local territoryStrong understanding of HVAC equipment (RTUs, splits, IAQ, ductless, etc.)Self-starter with a hunter mentality and strong follow-throughBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusCRM experience preferred (NetSuite a plus)Valid driver's licenseCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary + performance bonus opportunities401(k) with company contributionCompany paid health insuranceOptional dental, vision, life insuranceCar allowance / mileage reimbursementCompany credit card (client visits, meals, travel)Laptop, phone, and full operational supportStrong upside for high-performing sales professionalsWhy This RoleOpportunity to own and grow a high-potential South Florida territoryBacked by strong operational and inside sales supportIdeal for a well-connected HVAC distributor rep looking to expand their impactHigh-visibility role with real growth opportunity
