HM Hospitality Consultants works directly with Quince & Co and is not a recruiter but a partner in their HR function. Position Summary:The Human Resources Director is responsible for overseeing all HR functions for the company, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This includes managing employee relations, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, talent development, safety, compliance, and leadership training.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage HR operations across multiple concepts.Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and training to ensure compliance and support business needs.Administer HR programs like compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee development.Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.Oversee recruitment for visas or sponsored individuals.Stay updated on HR trends and employment laws to recommend improvements.Promote employee engagement and morale programs.Prepare reports, suggest improvements, and maintain efficient HR systems.Ensure the professional development and training of staff and managers.Skills/Abilities:Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Detail-oriented, excellent time management, and organizational abilities.In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.Proficient with HRIS, Microsoft Office, and talent management systems.Spanish language skills preferred.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in HR or related field (Master's preferred).At least 5 years of HR management experience.Experience in a restaurant or similar concept preferred.HR certification is a plus.Physical Requirements:This role requires on-site presence M-F in our San Francisco office. Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.Able to move quickly around the restaurant and lift up to 40 lbs.This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
