NOW HIRING: Substation Project Manager (Contract-to-Hire) Raleigh, NC (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 remote) ~30% Travel Required (Domestic + Occasional International - Passport Required) Substations | Grid Infrastructure | EPC Projects | Project ManagementWe're seeking a Substation Project Manager to support large-scale grid infrastructure projects within the power transmission space. This role is focused on managing multiple substation projects simultaneously, ensuring strong execution across schedule, cost, risk, quality, and customer expectations.This is a high-visibility, customer-facing role supporting complex substation builds and retrofits across North America, with exposure to global engineering teams and manufacturing sites.Important Note: Candidates must be willing to relocate to Raleigh, NC prior to start date (relocation assistance available).What You'll Be Doing: • Managing 4-6 substation projects at various phases (mostly new build) • Serving as the primary customer and stakeholder interface • Overseeing project execution from handover through construction closeout • Managing schedule, budget, forecasting, risk, and change control • Owning full P&L responsibility across assigned projects • Driving continuous improvement and reducing non-conformance costs • Coordinating with global engineering and execution teams • Supporting AIS, GIS, and substation equipment project deliveryWhat We're Looking For: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field 5+ years of substation or utility project experience • Strong customer-facing project management experience • Experience with AIS, GIS, transformers, breakers, MV/HV systems, BOP equipment • PMP certification preferred (or equivalent project management certification) • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Experience working with EPC or utility/construction environments strongly preferredWhy This Role?
