LX Pantos USA, Inc. is currently searching for a highly motivated Inbound Planning Manager.POSITION OVERVIEWSThe Inbound Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the inbound receiving processes, ensuring the timely and cost-efficient flow of goods and products into the company's facilities. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans for inventory replenishment, coordinating with suppliers, customers, vendors and receiving warehouses, and ensuring the integration of inbound processes with receiving and distribution needs.CORE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES40% Mexico/Ocean shipment ETA and lead time accuracyAnalyze TMS data for ETA input and actual delivery accuracyCompare plan and actual delivery resultManage forecast future shipment with MX Pantos and LG PSIReport any issue containers that effect to ETA and lead timeAssist Mexico Direct shipment input IOD20% End of month sale shipmentCollect all EOM shipments from the customerTry to deliver before end of month for those EOM shipmentsReceive on the system if any old aged shipmentsExpedite to deliver priority containerCooperate with each warehouse to receive containers20% System developmentAdd direct shipment and IMDL visibility in TCVSDevelop DMS information20% Data comparisonManage TMS input ratioFTV and Sea-stock report differencesDMS data accuracyCross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with procurement, logistics, transportation, and warehousing teams to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products.Coordinate with production and operations teams to align inbound plans with manufacturing needs.Ensure that planning processes align with overall business goals and objectives, and contribute to overall supply chain optimization.Continuous Improvement:Identify and drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency of inbound planning operationsDevelop and implement strategies to reduce costs, improve delivery performance, and enhance supplier relationshipsStay updated on best practices and industry trends to innovate and improve inbound planning practices.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure inbound planning activities comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and corporate policiesIdentify and manage potential risks related to inbound inventory, including delays, stock outs, or supplier issuesWork with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and resolve any issues that may arise during the inbound processTeam Leadership and Development:Lead and manage a team of inbound planners, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal team performanceFoster a collaborative work environment, encouraging continuous learning, problem-solving, and innovationConduct regular training and performance evaluations to support the growth and development of the inbound planning team.REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor Degree1-3 years in logistics (Import, export, inland tracking and distribution) is a plusDemonstrated strong proficiency in and use of Computer skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Power Point.Bilingual in Korean/ English is requiredBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, AD&D, 401K, and generous PTOs/ paid holidaysJob Type: RegularJob Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632Business Hours: Mon-Fri 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM
