Job Title: Vice President, Legal (ISDA)Location: New York, New YorkEmployment Type: Full TimeIndustry: Financial ServicesPosition Summary:We are seeking a skilled Legal Documentation Specialist to support our financial services client in drafting, negotiating, and preparing various legal agreements, including ISDA Master Agreements, Credit Support Annexes, Repurchase Agreements, Securities Lending Agreements, Custodial Undertakings, and related documents.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare and negotiate ISDA Master Agreements, Credit Support Annexes, PSA Master Repurchase Agreements, ISMA Global Master Repurchase Agreements, Master Securities Loan Agreements, and Custodial Agreements in connection with securities lending, repurchase agreements, and Dodd-Frank-related master agreements.Collaborate with Credit and Trading/Sales teams to ensure accurate representation of credit and business terms within agreements.Provide guidance to operations teams on material terms of agreements for practical application in daily operations.Act as a liaison with counterparties to facilitate the negotiation process efficiently.Deliver effective support for transaction execution, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.Ensure all transactions and related agreements comply with applicable laws, obtaining legal advice as needed from internal or external counsel.Assist attorneys with various documentation and legal projects.Perform additional duties as assigned.Experience / Qualifications / Education:A juris doctorate from an accredited US law schoolA license to practice law in the USStrong knowledge of swaps, repos (including custody agreements), and securities lending.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively interacting with Credit, Trading/Sales, and counterparties.Proactive and self-sufficient, with the ability to work independently while maintaining a professional and mature demeanor.3-7 years of experience negotiating derivatives, repo, and securities lending (including agency lending) documentation within a bank, broker/dealer, or financial institution.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
