Corporate Human Resources Senior DirectorJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior HR Director to lead and oversee the corporate HR functions of our client's team. This role will be responsible for managing a corporate HR team, implementing strategic HR initiatives, and ensuring company-wide alignment on key policies, compliance, and talent development programs. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in corporate HR leadership, data-driven decision-making, and project management.The Senior HR Director will act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, driving efficiency, compliance, and talent strategies to support our continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR leader who thrives in a dynamic, growing organization and can balance both high-level strategic initiatives with hands-on operational HR leadership. This position reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)PLEASE NOTE: Just to make sure folks are aware when applying that this is a corporate role for the entire company and not a field or regional HR operations role but you will need to support field & regional HR Directors as needed. There will be a lot of strategic initiatives that you will be leading so we just want to make sure you can hit the ground running.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR LeadershipDevelop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support business objectives.Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, aligning HR programs with company goals.Lead the development and standardization of corporate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency across all locations.Oversee and drive key corporate HR projects such as onboarding program design, HRIS system enhancements (ADP), and talent development initiativesPartner with finance and leadership teams to manage the annual merit process and compensation strategyHR Operations & ComplianceEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple locations nationwide.Lead HR compliance audits, rebuild handbooks, and improve HR reporting and analytics.Provide expertise on complex leave situations (FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation)Support multi-state HR operations, leveraging local HR teams as needed.Talent Development & Employee ExperienceLead succession planning, leadership development, and training initiatives to enhance employee growth.Develop and digitize performance evaluation processes, ensuring a data-driven approach to employee feedback and performance management.Enhance employee engagement strategies to foster a positive company culture and improve retention.Corporate HR Team LeadershipDirectly manage and develop the corporate HR team, including 2HR Generalists, 1 HRIS Specialists, and Compliance personnel and possibly a leave administratorAct as the primary HR liaison for the corporate office and remote employees, ensuring consistent HR support.Collaborate with regional HR Directors to align corporate and field HR strategies.Recruiting & Workforce PlanningPartner with leadership to drive high-volume hiring strategies during CAT events and rapid expansion periodsImplement data-driven recruiting strategies to improve hiring efficiency and employee retention.Qualifications & Experience10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a corporate HR roleExperience managing corporate HR teams that oversee multi-location HR initiatives (not just regional HR leadership).Strong knowledge of employment laws across multiple states and ability to manage compliance for remote employees.Proven experience leading strategic HR projects that impact an entire organization (onboarding programs, HRIS upgrades (ADP), compensation structures, performance management).Expertise in talent development, performance management, and employee engagement strategiesExperience with HR data analytics, reporting, and system optimizations is a plus.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldMaster's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration (MBA), Organizational Development, or a related field is a plus.HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.Industry experience in restoration, home services, or construction strongly preferred or some other blue collar type of industry.Why Join?Compensation: Ideally $150k-$165k base salary + annual target bonus which is based on company and individual performance.Hybrid work environment - 3 days in office each weekOpportunity to play a critical role in shaping HR within a growing companyDirect report and right hand to the CHRO so heavily involved in strategy and executionWork in a dynamic, fast-paced industry with direct impact on company success.Be part of a supportive, hands-on HR leadership team that values execution and autonomyComprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.Additional incentivesLocation: Santa Ana, CA - hybrid in office 3 days / weekExploratory conversations are currently being conducted, for immediate consideration or interest, please apply today.All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States.
