Accountability:This position is responsible for managing all activities of a customer's purchase order after receiving receipt until acceptance at the customer's location. This position is also responsible to act as the single point of contact for all cross-functional departments within the company.Scope and Responsibilities:Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.Validates that the customer's purchase order and the internal order write-up are consistent. Aligns if requiredAnalyzes and evaluates project risks, formulates and directs risk reduction activitiesCreates a complete project schedule for each assigned project from date of order through acceptance of product and final paymentTracks all milestone paymentsReceives schedule "buy-in" from all functional areas involved in the projectControls the budgets and implementation plan throughout the project lifeInterfaces with management directly on project assessment, direction, bottlenecks and risksProvide verbal reports and overall project information as needed, to support daily walk-aroundProvides a single line of communication between the customer and FivesCoordinates all communications and visits between Fives and subcontractorsMaintains a schedule and reporting system to reflect the progress of the project, and provides reports to the customer's Project ManagerCoordinates customer run-off at Fives CincinnatiProvides complete coordination for all customer questions, concerns and needsTracks engineering, assembly and run-off delivery datesCreates and coordinates recovery planAdvises, reviews, and obtain approval for all engineering designs relative to the installationCoordinates efforts of various Fives divisions and subcontractors during final assembly of the various components to establish shipping dates that provide timely flow of equipment into the customer's facility. This will lead to an efficient and manageable installationCoordinates and supervises installation and debug of all equipment at the customer's facilityCoordinates the acceptance test at the customer's facilities according to defined procedures and agreements with the installation supervisorCoordinates training requirements with Customer Service for each projectAssesses success and difficulties of each projectIdentifies and assists in developing new policies, procedures, routines and systems required to support or improve new projectsEducation/Certification:Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, or 2-4 years of similar or related experience preferredActive PMP Certification is a bonus but not requiredExperience:2 to 4 years of similar or related experience in a fast-paced advanced manufacturing environmentSkills:Working knowledge of SAPProficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)Good communication - both written and verbalAbility to present data effectivelyGood interpersonal skillsStrong technical understanding of Precision Machine ToolsTeambuilding
