Job descriptionMoet Law Group, APC is looking for a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our growing practice in our Irvine office. We are seeking an Attorney with 4+ years of experience including trials. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position. The ability to multitask, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position.The Litigation Attorney will handle a variety of Personal Injury cases at all stages of litigation, including trial prep, depositions leading to trial, complicated settlements, and in-court jury and bench trials, representing plaintiff clients in Irvine, Orange County, CA, and the areas surrounding O.C.ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in cases involving products liability, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and other personal injury mattersDrafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memoranda of lawGuide plaintiff clients through the case processInteraction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavitsAttendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances on behalf of plaintiffsHandling cases from preparing responsive pleadings to trialPropounding and responding to discoveryMedical record review/summariesConducting depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts,Attend court hearingsDrafting complaints ranging from basic motor vehicle accidents to complex premises and assault cases.Trial Preparation, including Motions, Special Verdict Forms, Jury Instructions, and any other related tasks to support the firm in preparation for Trial.Taking and defending depositions (including those of Plaintiff and experts, witnesses, etc.)Law and Motion - Research and drafting of Motions and Oppositions to various motion types, including but not limited to Motions for Summary Judgment and Demurrers, as well as Discovery-related Motions.Drafting complaints ranging from basic motor vehicle accidents to complex premises and assault cases.QualificationsCA State Bar License (Required)Litigation: 4+ years (Required)An active member in good standing with the California Bar AssociationAbility to manage high volume of litigation cases and take them to trialPrevious experience supervising team of paralegalsExcellent client service and communication skillsSelf-starter driven by long-term career goalsSuperior writing and oral advocacy skillsSpanish Speaker is a plusJob Type: Full-timePay: $150,000.00 - $220,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In person
