California based Owner/Manager and third-party Commercial Property Management firm is seeking a Property Assistant / Assistant Property Manager to work out of Oakland or Foster City to support buildings in the peninsula area. Position will have the opportunity to build on property management skills and develop skills further in financial reporting/knowledge. The company also offers excellent health coverage, 401K, very generous bonus potential, great work life balance with 1 day hybrid and an incredible TEAM environment!What are my Responsibilities?Managing vendors (maintenance, janitorial, concierge services per building)Managing tenant construction or building improvement processesAssisting Manager with showing spaceAssisting in preparing CAM'sCorresponding with existing and prospective clientsPartnering with Manager to create yearly budgetsTracking actual to budget and preparing variance reportsReviewing property payables and receivablesCommunicating with tenants with late payments or delaysActing as an Ambassador and face of company for tenantsCoordinating tenant functions, and amenities for the buildingScheduling routine building maintenanceHandling tenant move-in and move-outsManaging tenant and vendor complianceContinuing development of property management careerWhat skills do I need?Driven to be successful and willing to uphold company policiesSomeone who can make CUSTOMER SERVICE #1!Ability to represent company professionally in communication and attireWillingness to resolve tenant concerns with thorough follow upWhat are the requirements?Minimum of 2 years as a Property Administrator, plus 1-2 years as an Assistant Property Manager - open to a Property Admin moving upMust be willing to visit properties in the peninsula area as neededFour-year degree is requiredWord, Excel, Outlook and internet proficiency
