Title: Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer | Residential, Commercial, Hospitality, and Retail projectsOur client: For over forty years, our client continues to provide high-quality engineering services, offering a full range of MEP services such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, LEED and Sustainable Services and Commissioning. It is this hands-on philosophy and personal involvement that earned our client the loyalty of long-standing clients and demonstrated by winning the Preferred MEP Engineer award by Architects Magazine.Job Description: Immediate need for an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of five+ years of experience preparing designs of Electrical, Fire Alarm, Low Voltage, medium voltage, and underground utilities, building systems, etc., from inception to complete construction documents.Responsibilities: Design Electrical, Fire Alarm, and Low Voltage systems as well as medium voltage, and underground utilities, Low Voltage includes Communications, Audio/Visual and Security systems.Design from inception to complete construction documentsComplete all phases of design from schematics through construction administration.Meet with clients to develop scope of project.Develop project specifications.Knowledge of NYC filing requirements and proceduresReview of submittals, shop drawings, and change orders. Qualifications: 5+ years of similar Engineering experience with private MEP firmsProven experience designing Electrical systems in AutoCad and RevitExperience with communication systems designKnowledge of Building and Energy codes, NEC, NFPA requirementsStrong computer, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP skillsMUST have excellent communication and writing skills.MUST be willing to work in-person. (In-person 5 days/week)MUST be eligible to work in the US. Education: BS in Electrical Engineering
