Stock Associate

Position ObjectiveUnder the leadership and guidance of the Store Manager, the Stock Associate is responsible for overseeing all back-of-house and front-of-house operational functions, i.e., processing deliveries of inbound/outbound stock transfers, and handling all aspects of the inventory, including, but not limited to, quality control, organization, consignment business, negative on-hands, shipments, supply management, and transfers. Key Areas of ResponsibilitiesLeverage company tools and resources to ensure accurate inventory reporting. Demonstrate excellent knowledge of inventory protocols, receiving, (inbound/outbound), negative on hand, consignment management, supply management, etc. Forward thinking to anticipate inventory movements. Strong understanding of inventory reporting tools. Responsible for product quality control & stock room organization. Ensure effective communication between the store manager & other team members. Partner with the stock manager to ensure all duties are executed promptly and accurately. Act as a team player. Ensure all functions of the store are maintained to support a safe and hazard-free environment. Support in all areas of stock, shipping, receiving protocols/policies, procedures, and all related processes, including paperwork. Participate in physical inventories. Ensure the highest level of customer service to each individual in the store when present on the floor. Required Skills1-3 years' prior work experience in a stock or inventory management role (associate). Self-starter, strong follow-up, and attention to detail. Independent work ethic, time management skills. Computer skills to operate reporting and inventory management systems and UPS WorldShip.
