Position Summary:Ensure that all audit records meet or exceed all regulatory and customer requirements. Review and monitor all records pertaining to audits, i.e., HACCP, GMPs, metal detector, lot control, etc. Ensure that records to monitor incoming raw materials for Ventura Foods' headquarters (HQ) and customer requirements, i.e., COAs, are maintained and on file. Keep Quality Assurance (QA) Manager abreast of any non-compliance issues. Conduct weekly and monthly GMP and food safety audits of facility. Calibrate audit requirements and training for operations managers/supervisors to comply with all critical customers' requirements, and to ensure HQ QA policy compliance. Maintain audit documents for SQF certification and all other customer audits.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure HQ QA policy compliance to meet audit standards for regulatory and customer requirements. Responsible for assuring compliance with all food safety policies, procedures and regulatory criteria including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated preventative controls. Maintain accurate records of COAs, certificates of insurance, Kosher certification, label and packaging informationAudit food safety and HACCP programs and maintain accurate records for all audits. Maintain ingredient files for COAs, Kosher, MSDS, and labelsEstablish and provide disposition of Hold products and/or ingredientsSchedule and maintain schedule for microbiology lab coordinators and receivers. Monitor microbiology lab for supplies. Assist in testing as needed. Schedule work areas as neededHelp coordinate training of plant personnel for GMP, SOP, HACCP, food security and allergensAudit production line checks for compliance. Ventura Foods reserves the right to pay outside of the given range based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: candidate skills and experience, complexity of the job, budgetary factors, and location/geography.
