Our Client, a Luxury Brand, is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join their team on a temp basis to cover a maternity leave. This will be mainly supporting Benefits. Responsibilities:Onboard new hires by providing comprehensive benefits enrollment support and guidance.Support with the annual open enrollment process, including communicating plan changes, hosting informational seminars/webinars, and distributing relevant materials.Administer leave of absence and workers' compensation cases, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.Support to develop and deliver engaging benefits presentations on a quarterly basis to keep employees informed and engaged.Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing timely and accurate assistance.Process new hires, terminations, and employee data changes accurately and efficiently in all HRIS systems.Provide ongoing support to employees on HRIS system utilization and functionality.Support to prepare and manage monthly sales data within the commission system, ensuring accurate and timely calculations.Prepare monthly compensation reports Support to gather and analyze data for the annual compensation report, contributing to the development of competitive compensation strategies.Provide support during the annual Incentive Compensation Review (ICR) process.Assist the Payroll Manager with bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Meet with new hires to review benefit onboarding and provide guidance on navigating HR systems and other new hire orientation processes.Send welcome emails to new employees, providing a warm and informative introduction to the company.Other onboarding process including I-9 verifications, etc. Requirements and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in compensation or benefits or HR related area.Proficiency in HRIS and other compensation and benefits management tools.Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Experience in benefits or HR Operations.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other HRIS systems.Luxury retail background preferred.
