Graphic Designer + VideographerLocation: HYBRID, Jackson, MIPay Rate: ~$25/hour, DOE (W2 and benefit options)Duration: 6 Months to start (potential to go longer)The Planet Group is looking for a Graphic Designer to join their clean energy industry client on a 6-month contract.Graphic Designer + Videographer ResponsibilitiesDevelop visually compelling, original and creative graphic artwork through multi-channel campaigns to educate and engage audiencesEarn stakeholder trust and achieve desired behaviors and outcomes.Work with assets that could include digital static, HTML5 and OOH advertisements, email, web, social media posts, direct mail, print ads, infographics and others as needed.Takes ownership for assigned subjects areas and products, achieving a deep understanding of the customer problem and developing visually unique ways to engage the audience.Collaborate to inform visual strategy for assigned audience, topic and/or channel and provides suggestions to enhance creative materials using best practices, performance results and brand standards.Graphic Designer + Videographer Qualifications:2+ years of design experiencePortfolio / work samples included with applicationBachelor degree; ideally in Visual Communications or Graphic DesignTechnical background/education in visual communications and graphic design software tools and complex design skillset (Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Office)Ability to understand Gas Operations work and translate technical material into more visual productsAbility to understand MGSS requirements and translate and/or incorporate into the concept vision/planning and execution of developing more visual projectsExcellent graphic design skillsPhotography and video editing knowledge (Adobe premiere pro)Ability to translate technical material to effective visual content for regulatory documentationPossess diverse skillset in design and web-oriented software/toolsAbility to research and identify ideal technological solutions for project platform construction; translate experience and education in a variety of both design and web oriented software tools into proposed solutions (on a project-by-project basis)Excellent editing skills; detail orientedAbility to design complex technical visual content
