By thoughtfully engineering performance, convenience, and design into every product, Midea delivers on the promise of every appliance to make your life a little easier.Position Overview:Responsible for leading product management for Room Air Conditioning categories such as window and portable ACs and dehumidifiers, reporting to the Head of Product Management. Core focus areas include product management, product positioning, market strategies, product planning and line up, pricing and channel management, customer relationships, forecasting and key metrics attainment. Will be expected to lead product and channel development working in tandem with sales, R&D and HQ to manage a leading market share position in the segment and drive new businesses from the ground up.Essential Job Responsibilities:Achieving targeted revenues, price, and quantity, managing expense ratios and product mix while maintaining healthy inventory levels.Be the segment expert and knowledge source of industry trends, regulatory issues, competition moves, pricing and other marketing intelligence/analysis; analyze and share customer insights and market requirements across HVAC categories.Develop and get cross-functional alignment on the business plan for the category; execute USA specific category strategies and plans. Identify and implement cross-departmental process improvements relevant to the category.Align product planning across the matrix with R&D, design and quality; identify opportunities for potential NPD; develop local line-up logic, product positioning, and price strategies.Lead the new product launch process, drives the brief and execution with marketing communications and channel activation, ensure readiness to launch all supporting assets, including digital, prepare product material to support the field training teamsManage product lifecycle by driving sell thru, managing promotion budget, aligning PSI forecasts, and managing end of life and transition.Own category product marketing for sales and distributor teams. Ensure sales team and channels have their technical information and marketing needs fulfilled by developing channel and product specific literature, promotional materials and campaigns.Coordinate with HQ and R&D the necessary technical and product requirements for US market.Other Duties as AssignedRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field is required, MBA a plusMust have minimum 4 years of working experience in the related fieldMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel and Power Point skillsRoom AC, DIY products or Home Appliances experience requiredOccasional International Travel (5-10% time) and frequent Domestic travel (around 35% time)Comprehensive benefit package, to learn more, please visit Careers Page ()Midea America Corp. is an equal opportunity employer.
