Byler Quarries Plant Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Responsibilities: Performing daily maintenance and repairs to crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps and hot mix asphalt plant equipment. Maintenance Qualifications: Must be self-motivated and committed to the highest standard of safety. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment. Must be able to safely operate machinery to include forklifts, manlifts, cranes etc. Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to climb, crawl, kneel, bend, etc. Maintenance Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. 5 years of industrial maintenance-related experience preferred. High level of mechanical aptitude to include industrial electric, welding, fabrication, hydraulic and pneumatic systems etc. Basic understanding of PLC equipment is preferred.Ability to install and troubleshoot 480V/120V/24V systems.Must be knowledgeable in MSHA / OSHA regulationsMust have the ability to assess risks and be responsible for own personal safety at all times.Must be able to communicate clearly and follow instructions. Ability to work overtime / flexible schedule.
