Feldman Feldman & Associates (FFA) is a 15+ person boutique immigration law firm in San Diego handling all aspects of family and business-based immigration. With an ethical and client centric approach to immigration law, our firm has grown based on referrals from happy clients who appreciate our quality and responsive service, while having full confidence in our team to handle the toughest immigration matters.We are looking for an experienced immigration attorney who excels at tackling complex legal challenges and recognizes that every case represents a client's life and their future in the U.S. The ideal candidate is committed to a long-term career with the firm and aspires to take on a leadership role, ultimately growing into a partnership position. Some people are early morning people, others are not. Whether you start work at 8 or 9:30, we care more about what you get done.Parking: Plentiful free parkingRequirements:Not everyone will be a good fit for the role. To be seriously considered, please have the following:Available to work in the office 5 days a week. While ocassional remote work is permitted, the expectation is a typical work-week will be primarily in the office.Experience: At least 18 month of experience in family or business-based immigration.Licensed: Must have a license to practice law in any U.S. state.Skills: Must be an excellent writer and researcher and able to handle a high-volume case load.Characteristics: You must be personable, detail oriented, enjoy talking to clients, and enjoy the intellectual challenges of tough cases.Responsibilities:We believe it is important for immigration attorneys to have at least some knowledge of both family and business-based immigration options. We are happy to train you in the areas that you don't know.You will be expected to:Analyze a foreign national's situation and devise the best immigration strategy.Review documents and cases prior to submittal.Draft more complex cover letters and responses to any Request For Evidence.Supervise paralegal(s) and review their work.Respond to client emails and phone calls promptlyStay current on law changes and new USCIS memosHave a desire to help out wherever is neededPlease send the following to ffajobs@:ResumeCover LetterReferences
