Real Estate Paralegal

Our client is a small, well regarded law firm in Livingston, NJ looking at add an experienced commercial litigation paralegal to the team. If you have experience at a large, mid-sized, or boutique NYC firm and do not want to commute to the city anymore, this could be the perfect opportunity!Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal supporting attorneys at all phases of the deal process, with a particular emphasis on closings. ResponsibilitiesAssessing and preparing draft agreements, and closing documents for attorney reviewWorking with third parties coordinating title searches, surveys, environmental inspections, appraisals, UCC searches, zoning verification letters, Preparing and tracking closing checks lists and transactional documentation from finalized Agreements through completion of closing bindersDocumenting processes, as well as maintaining hard copy files and electronic recordsThis role will support one particularly busy client, so you should be comfortable tracking and supporting several deals at once.
