Adams & Martin Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant in St. Louis, MO. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or individuals starting their legal career. The ideal candidate will be organized, eager to learn, and ready to provide critical administrative support to attorneys and paralegals.Title: Legal AssistantLocation: St. Louis, MO (100% on-site)Schedule: Monday - Friday; Standard hours of operationCompensation: $40,000 - $45,000 annualBenefits: Health/Dental/Vision/401(k)/PTO/Holidays etc.Job Description:Assist attorneys and paralegals with daily administrative tasksPrepare, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondenceFile legal documents with courts and maintain accurate recordsOrganize and maintain paper and electronic case filesManage calendars, schedule appointments, and track deadlinesAnswer phones, greet clients, and handle basic client communicationsConduct basic legal and factual research as directedMaintain confidentiality and professionalism at all timesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentNo prior legal experience required, but internships or office experience are a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)Familiarity with office equipment and basic document management systemsWillingness to learn legal softwareStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentProfessional demeanor and strong work ethicDiscretion with confidential informationAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
