The Commercial Property Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of a portfolio of commercial real estate properties, including office, retail, and/or industrial assets. This position ensures that properties are maintained, leased, and operated in a manner that meets ownership objectives and delivers a high level of tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong leadership, financial acumen, and customer service skills.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of assigned commercial properties, ensuring effective management and maintenance.Develop and implement annual operating and capital budgets; monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports.Negotiate, prepare, and manage lease agreements, renewals, and tenant improvements in collaboration with leasing teams.Maintain positive tenant relations, promptly responding to requests, resolving issues, and ensuring lease compliance.Coordinate and supervise vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.Enforce lease terms and conditions, including rent collection and delinquency management.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual property reports for ownership or senior management.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes and safety requirements.Collaborate with accounting and legal teams to address billing issues, disputes, and legal matters.Identify opportunities to improve property performance and value through cost savings, upgrades, or increased tenant satisfaction.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field preferred.3-5+ years of experience in commercial property management or a related field.Professional designation such as CPM (Certified Property Manager) or RPA (Real Property Administrator) is a plus.Strong knowledge of property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, AppFolio) and MS Office Suite.Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and interpret financial statements.Familiarity with local real estate laws and regulations.Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
