Human Resources Director

AppleOne is assisting a client that is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager or Director to lead the people strategy for a dynamic, rapidly growing freight forwarding and logistics company with 260+ employees across 5 locations and 7 states.What You'll Do:Lead HR across the full employee lifecycle "” from recruitment and onboarding to compliance, retention, engagement, and offboarding.Maintain and ensure adherence to workplace policies and procedures.Manage multi-state compliance, employment law, and people analytics.Develop and implement compensation strategy, benefits programs, and performance management systems.Oversee a growing HR team and act as a strategic advisor to leadership.Spearhead HR initiatives and projects focus on the improvement of the HR function and employee experience.Develop, implement and maintain a consistent HR records keeping system.What You Bring:7+ years of HR experience (2+ at the head of HR level), preferably in logistics, transportation, or warehousing.Deep knowledge of employment law across multiple states, including California.A track record of building inclusive teams and enhancing employee engagement.Experience scaling HR in complex, multi-entity environments.Strong leadership, communication, and data-informed decision-making skills.SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.Ability to travel to other work locations from time to timeCompetitive Benefits:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401k6 paid holidaysBasic Life Insurance Coverage
