Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal Manager to join their team in Bergen County NJ! Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day management of litigation paralegals, including assignment distribution, workload balancing, and process coordination.Collaborate with attorneys to assess staffing requirements and prioritize tasks and caseloads.Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to the paralegal team.Conduct regular team meetings and contribute to firm-wide initiatives.Review, edit, and finalize legal documents including memoranda and briefs; ensure accurate citation formatting using Bluebook standards.Handle electronic court filings (e.g., complaints, briefs, declarations, affidavits) through federal and state systems.Manage interactions with external platforms (e.g., PacerPro, NetDocs, Box, ECFx), including downloading, organizing, and naming documents according to firm protocols.Support pretrial and trial preparation, such as compiling trial binders, organizing exhibits, and maintaining calendars and deadlines.Draft standard legal correspondence and documents, including proofs of service, civil cover sheets, subpoenas, notices of appearance, and pro hac vice motions.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Associate's degree and Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.5-10 years of litigation experience, ideally in complex, mass tort, or class action matters.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).Skilled in Adobe Acrobat and electronic court filing systems, especially PACER/ECF.Experience with legal research tools such as Westlaw or Lexis for citation and case law review.Familiarity with document management systems like Relativity and the ability to quickly learn new software.Courtroom and trial preparation experience strongly preferred.The Phoenix Group Advisors is an equal opportunity employer.
