Drive Service Excellence: Lead High-Performing Team!Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for a Service Department Leader to play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations, exceptional quality, and on-time delivery for our client. You'll lead a talented team, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement within a dynamic environment.As a key contributor, you will:Lead and empower the Service Department to achieve peak performance and exceed expectations.Optimize service workflows to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to delivery schedules.Champion quality and reliability by implementing and maintaining robust quality assurance processes.Develop standardized work practices to enhance efficiency and consistency across the team.Manage department operations effectively within budget constraints.Coordinate work-in-progress and ensure smooth transitions to final release.Proactively identify and resolve potential delays to maintain schedules.Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment through effective communication and leadership.Drive continuous improvement by implementing sound operating principles and company policies.Maintain a safe and organized work environment.What you'll bring:Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field.5+ years of progressive experience in vehicle maintenance/service operations.5+ years of proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop teams.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiarity with CAD systems.
