Trusts & Estates Associate - New YorkOur client, an Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates associate to join their Private Wealth & Family Office Practice Group. This position is based out of the firm's New York City office.The estimated salary range for this position is $225,000 - $235,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.Qualifications:2+ years of experience with estate planning and trust and estate administration, including work on large estates with complicated tax plans; preparation of Federal and State estate tax returns, probate documents and Surrogate's Court related filingsPrior experience in a sophisticated law firm is preferredKnowledge of estate and trust income taxation and estate taxation is preferredAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to analyze issues and possess strong research and writing skillsAbility to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationExcellent academic credentials, analytical skills and verbal and written communications skillsA Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmitted to the New York State Bar (or able to become admitted) and in good standingAll candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
