Now Hiring: HR Director | Multi-Entity Logistics & Freight Organization | Multi-State OperationsWe are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager or Director to lead the people strategy for a fast-growing freight forwarding and logistics organization with over 260 employees across 5 locations and 7 states.As the HR Director, you'll play a critical role in shaping the employee experience, fostering a high-performance culture, and implementing best-in-class HR practices across the organization and its affiliated platform entities. This hands-on, strategic position is ideal for an experienced HR leader who thrives in dynamic environments, understands the unique challenges of logistics, warehousing, or transportation sectors, and is eager to take initiative in collaboration with senior leadership.Key Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, engagement, retention, and offboarding.Maintain and enforce workplace policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with employment laws across multiple states.Manage compensation strategy, benefits programs, and performance management systems.Supervise a growing HR team and serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership.Drive HR initiatives aimed at improving employee experience and operational effectiveness.Develop and maintain consistent HR records and documentation systems.What You Bring:7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a senior leadership role.Background in logistics, transportation, or warehousing strongly preferred.In-depth knowledge of multi-state employment law, including California.Proven ability to build inclusive teams and elevate employee engagement.Experience leading HR in complex, multi-entity environments.Strong communication, leadership, and data-driven decision-making skills.SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.Willingness to travel occasionally to other work locations.Success Indicators:Positive results in employee engagement and satisfaction surveys.Successful rollout of HR initiatives and projects.Improvements in recruitment and retention metrics, employee relations, and HR compliance.Strong feedback from leadership on HR's strategic partnership and communication.Benefits Include:Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) Retirement Plan6 Paid HolidaysBasic Life Insurance Coverage
