This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering competitive hourly pay and the potential for long-term growth within a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, with a focus on accruals, joint venture financials, and financial analysis.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review monthly accruals to ensure accurate financial reportingPrepare joint venture financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standardsConduct trial balance fluctuation analysis and identify key variancesPerform month-over-month (MoM) trend analysis to support financial insights and decision-makingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial dataAssist with month-end close and ensure timely and accurate reportingMaintain and improve Excel-based models and reportsSupport external audits and provide documentation as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of relevant accounting experienceStrong knowledge of accrual-based accountingAdvanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.)Experience with joint venture accounting and financial reporting preferredCPA or CPA track is a plusDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and organizational skillsContract Details:Type: Contract-to-hireSchedule: Full-time
