The firm provides a flexible, remote-first environment and represents a unique client base in a niche commercial sector.Key Responsibilities:Spearhead sophisticated litigation matters countrywide, including consumer class actions (focusing on telemarketing and compliance), employment claims, commercial disputes, and contractual controversies.Serve as lead counsel in high-stakes cases, including preparing and arguing dispositive motions, managing trial strategy, and handling courtroom proceedings from start to finish.Defend clients in federal and state regulatory investigations and audits involving advertising, marketing practices, and consumer protection laws.Collaborate with internal teams and clients to structure business operations to reduce future legal risk.Act as a thought leader by participating in client education sessions, contributing to industry roundtables, and helping build the firm's profile in key commercial sectors.Provide strategic counsel to corporate clients with long-term interests, often beyond the immediate litigation.Requirements:Minimum of 10 years of complex litigation experience handling national matters across various substantive legal areas.Proven history of first-chair trial experience with a record of success in bench and jury trials.Strong commercial insight and the ability to understand litigation's impact on a client's broader business objectives.Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and responsiveness.Previous exposure to or comfort with transactional and contractual review work is advantageous.Must be able to cultivate and maintain productive client relationships in both contentious and advisory roles.Preferred Attributes:A dynamic, solutions-oriented mindset with a desire to lead, not follow.Professional confidence balanced with a collaborative team-first attitude.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presenting clearly to clients, colleagues, and industry audiences.A sense of humor and an adaptable personality that thrives in non-traditional, results-driven environments.Education & Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.Active and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar (multi-jurisdictional practice welcome).Location: Fully remote (U.S.-based).
