Job Overview: We are seeking dynamic and versatile contingent HR Associates to support our Human Resources department during an ongoing HR transformation project. This up to 24-month assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Benefits, HR Operations and Digital HR Systems. The ideal candidates are self-starters who can work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are eager to develop their careers in human resources.Key Responsibilities:Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:Schedule high-volume interviews and coordinate with candidates, hiring managers and recruiters.Post job advertisements to various platforms and maintain applicant tracking systems.Process background and reference checks, support onboarding and orientation activities.Partner with hiring managers to understand and support recruitment needs.HR Generalist & Employee Support:Provide support for performance management, employee relations and succession planning.Counsel employees and managers on basic HR topics and policy application.Collaborate with HR Business Partners and department leaders to drive talent strategies.Benefits & Leave Administration:Administer employee benefits and leave programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.Liaise with vendors and third-party administrators to resolve claims and manage billing.Support benefits communications and conduct orientations for new employees.Learning & Development:Coordinate learning events, development programs and onboarding activities.Support training logistics, registration and evaluation.Assist with program design and facilitation as needed.HR Operations & Data Management:Process and maintain accurate employee data and documentation across HR systems.Prepare and analyze HR metrics, reports, dashboards and presentations.Support compliance and audit readiness through accurate record-keeping and documentation.Digital HR Systems & Process Improvement:Gather stakeholder requirements and assist with HRIS enhancements and upgrades.Collaborate with IT and vendors to troubleshoot and improve digital HR tools (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors).Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.Administrative & Special Projects:Provide logistical and administrative support for HR initiatives and events.Handle mailroom operations, document delivery and general office support when needed.Support special assignments and cross-functional projects in various HR domains.Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or Associate Degree required; Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.1-3 years of experience in HR or administrative support roles is preferred.Experience with SAP and/or SuccessFactors is a strong plus.Skills & Competencies:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities.Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.Adaptability and resilience in a fast-changing environment.Knowledge of HR compliance areas including HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA and ACA (for benefits roles).Why Join Us?This assignment offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your HR experience in a supportive, innovative, and team-oriented environment while contributing to a major organizational transformation initiative.
