This opportunity is ideal for attorneys eager to work in a fast-moving environment and who bring strong litigation fundamentals with an interest in labor and employment law.Duties:Manage employment-related legal disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful discharge claimsDraft and respond to initial pleadings and discovery requestsPrepare and argue motions in state and federal courts and arbitration forumsTake and defend depositionsProvide preventive advice and legal support to clients on workplace practices and policiesWork closely with clients and internal teams to develop effective litigation strategiesAssist, where applicable, on collective or representative action matters (including PAGA claims)Participate in case evaluations, negotiations, and settlement discussionsRequirements:2-6 years of civil litigation experienceDemonstrated interest or prior experience in labor and employment mattersProficient in handling multiple litigation matters concurrentlyStrong analytical, legal research, and writing abilitiesCapable of working independently and collaborativelyAdmission to the California State Bar is requiredExperience with class or representative action defense is a plus, but not requiredEducation:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law schoolCertifications:Active member in good standing with the California State BarSkills:Outstanding written and oral communication skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrategic thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesFamiliarity with employment law statutes and procedural rulesAdaptable to hybrid working environmentsJob Location:Escondido, CAThe hybrid work model is availableBCG Attorney Search is the industry leader for placing candidates in permanent positions in law firms.
