The Job:The Human Resources Manager plays a critical role in driving people strategies that align with operational goals across a multi-unit, geographically dispersed restaurant environment. Serving as a trusted advisor to field leadership, this role focuses on optimizing workforce effectiveness, fostering a strong workplace culture, and supporting HR functions including Employee Relations, Talent Development, Retention and Compliance. This position is instrumental in implementing scalable HR practices, guiding organizational change, and promoting consistent application of policies and procedures in the field. Bilingual in Spanish requiredWhat You'll Be DoingPartner with field leadership to shape and execute human capital strategies that support operational performance, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness.Support the end-to-end employee experience by driving initiatives in performance coaching, succession planning, and leadership development.Leverage data insights to identify HR trends and deliver practical solutions that improve retention, increase productivity, and enhance the team member experience.Conduct and resolve complex employee relations investigations, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company values.Provide expert guidance on labor laws, workplace standards, and policy interpretation to promote fairness and consistency in decision-making.Collaborate cross-functionally with training, legal, payroll, and HRIS teams to streamline support and optimize outcomes for restaurant leadership and their teams.Lead and contribute to the development of training content related to compliance, employee relations, and policy execution for new and existing leaders.Evaluate field-level HR performance through audits and routine check-ins, delivering clear feedback and action plans where needed.Maintain visibility in the field by regularly visiting locations to build relationships, assess HR practices, and support leadership teams.Serve as a subject matter expert on leave administration and accommodations, facilitating the interactive process and ensuring ADA/FMLA/CFRA compliance.Assist with the implementation of new HR tools or systems, ensuring smooth adoption and long-term sustainability.What You NeedBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.At least 5 years of experience in a multi-site HR leadership or business partner role; experience in hospitality, retail, or service industries strongly preferred.Certifications:Valid driver's license required.Professional certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) a plus.Skills & Competencies:Deep understanding of employment law, workplace investigations, and employee relations best practices.Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.Strong communicator with excellent coaching, facilitation, and influence skills.Analytical thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR technologies; comfort working in fast-paced, tech-enabled environments.Bilingual in Spanish is required.Willingness to travel to support assigned territory.
