This role could be the next exciting step in your career!Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinates delivery of material from the source locations to the point of use and resolves part availability related issues.Triggers Kanbans for the production lines to replenish materials.Utilizes SAP transactions to support all aspects of the material delivery and inventory accuracy processes.Works closely with several functional areas including Operations, Engineering, Supply Management, Production Control, and Material Handling with shortages, expedites, inventory accuracy, and change management.Conducts on-the-spot part count requests.Must have the ability to work with an inclusive team on the production floor.Skill Set RequirementsMust be familiar with Excel, Word, and Outlook - Must haveMust be comfortable working in a team environment - Must haveGood attention to detail - Must haveSAP knowledge - Highly preferredExperience with inventory management - Nice to haveFamiliarity with the Continuous Improvement process - Nice to haveFamiliarity with process flow of material management - Nice to haveExperience with developing and implementing process improvements - Nice to haveExperience with performing audits - Nice to haveAdditional NotesFirst Shift position: 6:00am-3:00pm or 7:00am-4:00pm (Exact start time can be decided with the manager). OT as neededInternal metatarsal safety shoes are required (different than steel toe boots)Recent grads in supply chain or business may also make good candidates in addition to candidates with some engineering, manufacturing, or material flow experience.Person will be onsite from day one. Metatarsals required for first day.
