Position: Project ManagerLocation: Riverside, CAIndustry: ConstructionExperience: DSA & OSHPD and K-14 Educational Facilities ProjectsEmployment Type: Full-timePosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee K-14 educational facility construction projects in Riverside, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing Division of the State Architect (DSA) and Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) regulated projects, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Oversight: Lead all phases of K-14 construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to safety standards, budgets, and timelines.Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.Documentation & Compliance: Review and interpret construction drawings, project specifications, and contractual obligations. Ensure all project activities comply with DSA and OSHPD regulations.Scheduling & Budgeting: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets, monitoring progress and addressing any discrepancies or potential risks.Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure the highest standards of work are met.Team Leadership: Provide leadership to the project team, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring effective communication and workflow.Reporting: Maintain proper documentation for all project activities, including daily logs, safety reports, and inspection records. Communicate project progress to clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any project-related issues or conflicts in a timely manner.QualificationsRequired:Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager with a focus on K-14 educational facility construction.In-depth knowledge of DSA and OSHPD regulations, building codes, and safety standards.Proven experience managing large teams, subcontractors, and complex construction projects.Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.OSHA certification and other relevant safety training.Preferred:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).LEED certification or similar sustainability experience in school construction projects.Experience working with local government agencies, school districts, and community stakeholders.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.If you are an experienced Construction Project Manager with a passion for building quality educational facilities, we encourage you to apply and contribute to creating safe, sustainable, and inspiring learning environments for students in Riverside, CA.
