Associate Attorney

We are expanding again!Small Oakland law firm with a dynamic civil defense practice is seeking to hire an associate attorney with 2 or more years of experience to join its team representing individual and entity clients in professional liability (medical and legal malpractice), employment, general liability, and construction defect matters in state and federal courts throughout California, as well as in administrative proceedings. Firm priorities include providing the highest quality legal representation to its clients in a collaborative manner between partner and associate while maintaining a work-life balance for its attorneys and staff. This includes reasonable annual billable expectations, hybrid work schedule (with a combination of remote work and in-office (office is close to 12th Street BART), including for training and mentoring purposes), as well as flexibility as to work hours.
