Position Purpose:We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to join our team. This position will play a key role in supporting various HR functions and ensuring smooth operations within the HR department.Responsibilities:PayrollReview timecards Payroll processing in ADP RunRecruitment Support:Assist in coordinating recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.Maintain applicant tracking system and ensure all candidate information is up to date.Onboarding:Assist in completing new hire paperwork and ensuring all required documents are collected and filed properly.Employee Relations:Act as a point of contact for employees' HR-related queries and concerns, providing timely and accurate information.Collaborate with HR Generalists and Managers to address employee issues and escalate matters when necessary.Employee Records and Documentation:Maintain accurate and organized employee records, both physical and digital.Prepare HR-related documents such as employment contracts, offer letters, and HR policies.Benefits Administration:Support benefits enrollment processes and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure accurate and timely administration of employee benefits.Compliance and Policies:Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's policies and practices comply with legal requirements.Draft, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to maintain a positive work environment.Additional Responsibilities:Any adhoc duties as assigned.Education & Skills Required:HR applicants require a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or extensive prior experience in human resources3 to 5+ years of experience in a human resources positionPossesses superb written and spoken communication skills2+ years multi-state payroll experienceCommitment to payroll best practices and regulationsExperience with ADP RunExcellent interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skillsExcellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record-keepingOrganized and efficient in daily tasksSpecialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferredGeneral knowledge of employment laws and best practices
