Salary range may vary based on geographic location.LocationLos Angeles, CAReporting StructureThe Temp Associate Technical Designer reports directly to the Sr. Technical Designer.What You'll Be Responsible For:The Temp Associate Technical Designer will be assisting the Women's Technical Design, Production Sweaters team with the following:Create tech packs for production styles and email to overseas factoriesReceive & spec production fit samples to ensure comments and construction details are correctly executedAttend all production fittings, take notes for communicating changes to vendorsUpdate fit trackers to keep track of the production stage for each style from 1st Fit to TOPReceive handovers for all fit pieces from development team and keep track of those stylesAssist the tech team with preparing outgoing packagesQualifications/Experience We're Looking For:2+ years of experience as technical assistant or fit technicianMust have at least AA degree from a Fashion / Design InstituteEntry level construction, grading and fit support experienceUnderstands garment construction knowledge and fitAbility to read and understand tech packsAble to effectively communicate fit terminology and problem solve fit challengesGreat interpersonal skills, confident and the ability to collaborate with cross functional team membersAbility to prioritize workload, meet calendar goals and deadlines and organize work appropriatelyDemonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skillsMust have strong computer skills in MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word & strong note takingProficiency in Illustrator Software like Adobe Illustrator, PhotoshopSweater knowledge regarding stitches, gauges, & yarnWhat You'll Bring: Effective & Elevated CommunicationSolution DrivenBusiness AcumenAutonomous OperatorV Opco, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any applicant or employee because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, genetic information, age, or military or veteran status or any other status protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
