Job Title: Senior Buyer Dallas TX 75212CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Senior Buyer for a governmental municipality client in the Dallas, TX area. As the Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for performing procurement functions of designing and writing solicitations, evaluating and monitoring contracts for compliance, and leading the proposal evaluation process. Qualified candidates will have municipality experience and critical certifications. This is an exciting opportunity that offers a contract-to-hire path with a goal of full-time employment and competitive compensation.Requirements & Responsibilities for the Senior Buyer:Perform procurement functions, including designing and writing solicitations, and evaluating/monitoring contracts for compliance. Lead the proposal evaluation process and negotiate contract terms and conditions. Maintain the integrity of the public procurement process and ensure statutory, policy, procedural, and best practice compliance.
