Deputy General Counsel

I'm currently working with a full-service Real Estate company based in Jupiter, FL that's looking to recruit a Deputy General Counsel. In this role, you will be responsible for advising internal business teams and senior leadership on real estate transactions, development projects, and regulatory compliance. You will manage the legal aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing for various buildings and care centers, including drafting Letters of Intent (LOIs), Purchase and Sale Agreements (PSAs), lease agreements, and development contracts.Key Responsibilities:Advise internal business teams and senior leadership on real estate transactions and development projects.Ensure regulatory compliance across multiple U.S. markets.Manage legal aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing for various properties.Draft and review LOIs, PSAs, lease agreements, and development contracts.Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.Provide strategic legal guidance to support business objectives.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active Florida bar membership in good standing.Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on transactions and development.Strong knowledge of real estate law, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and regulatory compliance.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
