Family/Matrimonial Law ParalegalLocation: Brooklyn, NYSalary: $85,000 - $90,000Type: Full-Time | In-OfficeJoin our client, a dynamic and growing legal team that's passionate about making a difference.Established in 2000, our is home to 115+ experienced attorneys dedicated to delivering high-quality counsel and personalized legal solutions. They're currently seeking an experienced Family/Matrimonial Law Paralegal to support our busy and expanding Family Law department in Brooklyn.This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to meaningful, client-centered work.Key Responsibilities:Draft and prepare motions, pleadings, judgments, financial statements, and legal correspondenceAssist attorneys with trial preparation, including assembling trial notebooks and providing in-court support as neededManage the discovery process, including disclosure statements, interrogatories, and document requestsServe as a liaison between attorneys and clients "” conducting interviews and maintaining communication throughout each caseOrganize and manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain accurate calendars using Microsoft OutlookFile court documents, including e-filing in Family Court and both state and federal courtsReview and analyze financial records, including bank statements and asset disclosuresCoordinate meetings, appointments, and legal proceedingsPerform administrative tasks as needed to support smooth daily operationsQualifications:2-4 years of experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role (Family or Matrimonial Law preferred)Strong understanding of court procedures and litigation documents, including e-filing systemsExperience reviewing financial documents and preparing legal calculations (e.g., child support worksheets)Highly organized with the ability to manage a high-volume caseloadExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with clients and staffProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Westlaw and ProLaw is a plusProactive, detail-oriented, and dependable team playerParalegal certificate preferredWhat We Offer:At our client's firm, you're not just part of a team "” you're part of a community that values collaboration, integrity, and professional growth.
