Associate Designer

Job Overview:Trixxi's Design team is the driving force behind our brand's commitment to beautiful, authentic designs with quality materials and construction. We are seeking an Associate Designer to join our growing design team! This position reports directly to Trixxi's Design Director and will be a key voice in assisting the creative process.Responsibilities and Duties:Work alongside our design director during the development stage.Research market trends/inspirations/ new colors seasonallyHand Sketch initial concepts for pattern maker (illustrator a plus)Communicate with the Art department on styles and make sure they are accurate.Collaborate with internal design and interdepartmental Trixxi's teamsOrganize shipments of samplesTake on small tasks as needed to meet deadlines and have a can do mindsetAttend line review meetings with the Design Team to review products from the sample roomAssist with all product related projectsQualifications:Degree in Fashion DesignTwo years of relevant experience designing dressesMust present an online portfolio of design work, showcasing your worksuccessfully launching products from concept to launch, detailing your role in each.An acute eye for style, color, fabrication and construction.Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs.Experience with Microsoft Office; Excel.Strong communication skills (email and personal)A strong desire for adventure & curiosityAbility to adapt and work in a fast-paced environmentDesire to learn & hunger for more
