Legal Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant for our client in Portland, OR. This full-time direct hire position offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days in office and 2 days remote after training period. This is a welcoming, collaborative team that values their colleagues!The Litigation Legal Assistant will support a group of attorneys by preparing pleadings and court filings, drafting correspondence and legal documents, maintain client/matter files, opening new client matters, and scheduling meetings. The ideal candidate will be highly organized with at least 5 years of civil litigation experience. Responsibilities:Provide legal and administrative support to attorneys and help with workflow coordinationDraft and proofread correspondences and legal documentsTranscribe dictation and handwritten documentsOpen new client matters and enter information into CRM databasePrepare pleadings and court filings for electronic filing in statewide courtsSchedule and coordinate meetingsMonitor attorney calendars and keep apprised of approaching deadlinesSubmit vendor invoices and expense reimbursements timely Qualifications:5+ years of civil litigation experience requiredState and federal court experience required, including Oregon state experienceProficient with Microsoft Word and OutlookNet Docs experience a plusExceptional customer service skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAppellate experience preferredIf you are interested in this hybrid Litigation Legal Assistant job opportunity in Portland, OR please apply today!Salary: $70,000 - $85,000Benefits include medical, dental & vision insurance, employee assistance program, Heath Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account, short & long term disability, parking stipend, and bonus opportunities.
