See how Roseburg is building and growing at and @RoseburgPurposeThis position will be responsible for assisting the human resource manager and coordinating the hourly staffing functions for the assigned plants.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides support to the human resource functionReviews applications and resumes'Screens applicants, including scheduling of appropriate assessmentsSchedule interviews with applicantsPre-employment reference checksSchedule and track pre-employment background checks, post offer physicals, drug testing and plant toursMaintain applicant hiring documentation as specifiedParticipates in new hire orientations (forms, policies, etc.)Tracking of all new employee progressAttends local job fairs and other recruiting activitiesUses all means available to communicate available jobs to community ties and employment agenciesMaintains plant manning levels to budgeted labor costsMonitor Applicant Pool for admin recruitments, send out to hiring managers, respond with thank you letters as appropriateMaintains part time employee list and disbursement of workMaintains pool of applicants to attain complex hiring needsAdheres to and supports safety policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedModel company core valuesRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3 years' human resources experienceExcellent listening, written and oral communication skillsMust be a team player with team building skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsMaintain the highest ethical standards in dealing with confidential informationAbility to make decisions when under pressure Excellent PC operation and experience (Word and Excel Spreadsheets, PowerPoint)Proven leader and results drivenGood understanding of company hiring policies Willing to expand education/trainingPreferred QualificationsAssociates degree and 0-3 years of related human resources experienceExperience with recruiting and hiring processesAN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER INCLUDING DISABILITY AND VETERANS
