Litigation Paralegal

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a dynamic and highly respected consumer warranty law firm located in Westwood, California, to identify an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who excels in litigation support, is eager to grow within a collaborative team, and thrives in an on-site work environmentKey Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive support to attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities.Draft, proofread, and curate legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other correspondence.Organize and maintain complex case files to ensure quick access and organization of litigation materials.Conduct legal research using tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis.Manage eDiscovery processes, including document review and electronic court filings for both federal and state matters.Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel, ensuring timely updates and coordination.Handle administrative tasks and assist the firm with day-to-day demands related to litigation workflow.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate required (ABA-approved preferred).Experience: Minimum 3+ years of litigation expertise, especially in consumer law or warranty issues preferred.Strong knowledge of eFiling systems and procedures for both state and federal courts.Outstanding organization, time-management, and attention to detail.Proficient in legal research and drafting processes, with excellent written and verbal communication.Tech-savvy with experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and case management software.
