Operations Analyst

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Operations Analyst in Sioux City, IA area! They will be responsible for completing strategic business projects that relate to plant operations.Responsibilities:Understand and analyze all carcass primal yields and individual converting yieldsUnderstand product specifications and how changes affect value and yieldAnalyze data to maximize profitability for products that can be made of raw materialsIdentify areas of opportunity through variance reporting on daily/weekly trendsDevelop list to define key areas of opportunity in efficiencies, dollars or bothPrepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing or potential trouble areasUnderstand all areas of standard costing and analyze and report any variances from actualSupport team project work through assisting with project planning, data collection, and report generationRequirements:Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred5+ years work experience in meat industry a plusExperience with an ERP or related system a plusWork with the team to understand pricing, costing, and marginsStrong understanding of reporting systems
