Maintenance Supervisor

An industry leading Food and Beverage manufacturing firm is looking for a Maintenance SupervisorGreater Twin Falls, ID areaLeadership LevelJob ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning and execution of maintenance activities to ensure smooth operation of production equipment and facility systems.Perform hands-on work involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.Lead a team of 8-12 maintenance staff, assigning daily tasks and overseeing progress on repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance.Collaborate with other departments to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.Maintain and improve preventative maintenance schedules for systems such as steam, air, refrigeration, water, and production machinery.Conduct inspections, diagnose faults, and ensure timely completion of work orders and safety checks.Uphold safety standards and report any concerns to appropriate personnel, ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal policies.Take part in special projects and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the facility.Skills and RequirementsExperience & EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical field is a plus.At least 5 years in industrial maintenance, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.Background in food or dairy processing is preferred.Technical ProficiencySkilled in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including 480V equipment.Familiar with preventative maintenance systems and industrial safety standards.Ability to read schematics and perform basic welding and fabrication.Leadership & CommunicationStrong team leadership and coordination skills.Clear communicator with the ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems under pressure.Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools for planning and reporting.Physical DemandsCapable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working in physically demanding environments.Regular climbing, bending, kneeling, and walking required.Must be able to work in varying weather and facility condition
