General Superintendent - Electrical

Their reputation is highly safety and quality focused with an emphasis in internal employee satisfaction and they are committed to delivering state-of-the-art infrastructure for high-demand, mission-critical environments.We're seeking a General Superintendent to oversee all electrical field operations across multiple disciplines on large-scale construction projects, particularly high-demand facilities such as data centers. This individual will be responsible for managing field teams, maintaining project schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring safety and quality across all trades on site.What You'll DoProvide overall leadership to all onsite personnel across various trades and scopes of work.Collaborate closely with project management to keep the project on track with schedules, budgets, and client expectations.Oversee the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring that trade foremen maintain and follow 3-week look-ahead plans.Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, equipment, and workforce planning.Ensure all work meets project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards. Lead the implementation of QA/QC processes.Promote a culture of safety by conducting audits, leading jobsite safety briefings, and ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Immediately address and report safety violations or concerns, ensuring team-wide adherence to company policies and safety protocols.Act as the primary liaison between field teams, subcontractors, clients, and project leadership"”facilitating clear, consistent communication.Lead by example to maintain a productive, collaborative, and respectful jobsite culture.Perform additional duties as required to support the success of the project.What You Bring10+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, including at least 5 years in a superintendent or leadership role supporting electrical projects.Experience managing large projects with multiple subcontractors and a field team of 150+ workers.Strong understanding of construction drawings, schedules, submittals, and cross-trade coordination.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to proactively solve problems and make decisions under pressure.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.In-depth knowledge of construction practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Preferred QualificationsExperience overseeing data center, healthcare, or other mission-critical construction projects.Familiarity with Lean construction practices and pull planning.Proficiency in scheduling software and field technology tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera).Ability to assess manpower needs and direct crews efficiently.Strong vendor and subcontractor coordination skills.Knowledge of competitive material pricing and procurement best practices.OSHA 30 certification or equivalent preferredBenefits:Generous PTOHolidaysMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance401(k) + MatchVehicle Reimbursement Program or Company TruckCell Phone ReimbursementOpportunities for Growth and Leadership DevelopmentWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
