Commercial Loan Officer

COMMERCIAL LOAN OFFICERTHE BANK N.A. is looking for a long term, enthusiastic, outgoing, banking professional who believes in community banking and that outstanding customer service is the #1 priority. This candidate will be responsible for developing client relationships and new business development. The successful candidate will have proven success in commercial lending along with a business development background primarily in a banking environment. Furthermore, this candidate will develop business checking and deposit relationships with customers; and promote business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree (BA) or equivalent from a 2-year college or university; 5 years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others. • Solid Credit analysis skillsGeneral duties and responsibilities: • Maintain and grow current relationships• Responsible for developing business, sales, and revenue growth for the bank• Gather and analyze all information necessary to present a financing request to Loan Committee for approval; meetwith existing or potential customers; visit sites of loans; negotiate loan terms and conditions; approve loans withinestablished lending limits or refers and recommends acceptance.• Coordinate processing of approved loans; ensure loans are processed according to agreement, customer needsand conform to bank lending policies.• Ensure that credit inquires and UCC filings are researched to determine credit worthiness and appropriate collateralpositioning are achieved.• Negotiate, underwrite and process renewals of credit.• Represent the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance theBank's image and develop additional business; assist the Bank in establishing and maintaining market position.The goal of this professional will be to contribute to the continued growth and profitability of the bank by: developing new and enhancing existing customer relationships, increasing bank deposits, and promoting quality loan portfolio growth.Salary: Commensurate with ExperienceWhere to applyDirect website @ or the following URL Equal Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Female/Veteran/Disability
