CITY OF MCCOMBCITY ATTORNEYThe City of McComb is seeking a candidate to fill the position of City AttorneyThe City Attorney shall be appointed by the governing body and shall serve for a period of time as fixed by the governing body or until a successor is appointed and qualified. The City Attorney shall prepare all ordinances, resolutions, contracts and other legal papers required for the proper conducting of the business of the City, and shall act as the chief legal advisor for the City.PREFERRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Applicant should hold a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with an Active Bar License in good standing (State of Mississippi). Five (5) years or more experience in the practice of law - preferably in a municipal or governmental law position.
