Service Manager

We are looking for a motivated Service Manager to lead and coordinate our team of service and maintenance technicians. In this role, you'll be the key link between our technicians, customers, and internal departments, ensuring high-quality service and timely project completion.You'll report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for scheduling, inventory coordination, customer communications, and technician development.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and prioritize service and maintenance jobs to meet deadlines and adapt to schedule changesLead daily service meetings and provide updates on job assignments and expectationsOversee inventory picking for jobs, track parts usage, and coordinate with inventory and billing departmentsMonitor progress and quality of service/maintenance work; ensure jobs are ready for billingCoordinate with customers and technicians through our Spire job scheduling platformManage technician performance, hiring, training, and developmentEnsure smooth jobsite logistics for deliveries and project executionBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional serviceRequirements & QualificationsExperience in service or field management, preferably in dairy equipment or ag-related industriesStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsKnowledge of dairy milking equipment installation, repair, and operationAbility to operate specialty tools, equipment, and a forklift
