Position Overview:Flatrock Motorclub is seeking a responsible and experienced Tire Technician to join our growing team. This role involves skilled automotive mechanical work focused on the repair, maintenance, and replacement of tires for both racecars and street cars. Work is performed in a shop environment utilizing tire-changing equipment, balancing machines, lifts, and hand tools.Professional Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredValid Drivers License Ability to pass a background checkExperience: 1-2 Years experience as a tire technicianLeadership Skills:Communication: Excellent ability to clearly and effectively communicate to internal and external personnel. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.Proactive Mindset: Eager to take initiative and drive projects forward.Key Responsibilities:Install new tires on racecars and street cars in accordance with manufacturer specificationsPerform tire rotations, balancing, repairs, and pressure checksInspect and assess tire tread depth, wear patterns, and damage; recommend appropriate servicesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with all safety policiesKeep accurate records of work performed and parts used for each memberCollaborate with and support team members as needed.Physical DemandFull time position. Ability to sit or stand in a stationary position for long periods of time. Ability to lift, push or pull up to 75 lbs. Must have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Environment:Pleasant, indoor and outdoor work environment with access to necessary tools and equipment Requires clear communication of information and ideas to ensure others fully understand.
